Test event generation in Zabbix

Hi All,

I have integrated Zabbix with BPPM for event propagation from zabbix to BPPM.

However,I am looking for a way to generate some test events on Zabbix ,in order to check whether those events are getting propagated to BPPM or not.

Please suggest the ways...

Hi,

As you can see from the version we are running our Zabbix has been running fine for a couple years now, but after a few harddrives ran out of space the SQL are not happy anymore.
Nothing is updating and the log show the eventid's is reset to 1 every time we restart the zabbix...

The maximum age of notifications is set to 7 days. So why do I still have events from 12 days old? And how do I delete them once they are...

For each event it is possible to view its details via Time link in events list. Is it possible to put some custom data into "Error" column in "Message Actions" section in that detailed view? Let's say we have an action defined, which fires an external script...

При выставлении параметра проблемный статус генерируется раз в 30 секунд. Для меня это слишком часто.

Hi @Forum,

I would like to know if it is possible to create a working action on the master node from events of the child node. It is likely by design that is does not work as the child node is a standalone Zabbix server.

Also the events coming from the child node are acknowledge...
