Force host creation to use a proxy

I have some users that are creating their hosts pointing to Zabbix Server instead of the correct Proxy.

Is there a way to prevent users from creating hosts without selecting a proxy?

By default, any graph shows the last hour of measurements. This cannot be changed, except when:

How do I create a calculated item using the Zabbix API? I do not see where I would put the calculate item's formula. Although an Item object has a formula attribute, it seems to refer to the custom multiplier as opposed to a calculated items formula.

Since Zabbix 1.8.2 i get the following error when trying to add a new action:
Have a look at the screenshot.
Does anyone have an idea why this happens or how i could fix it?
