global notifications issue

Hi I've encountered a problem where global notifications are not displayed for all configured events. I configured the notifications for every severity triggers but notifications appear completely randomly. It's not based on triger severity, nor the sound it should play, nor monitored host.

I know that the documentation states that the options for enabling global notifications are in the user profile but I can't find them anywhere, the options I have are:
Alias, Name, Surname, Password, User type, Groups, Language, Theme, Auto-login, Auto-logout, Refresh, Rows per page, URL and...
