Can I get monitor a device using MAC address without IP address?

Anyone know how zabbix can monitor a host using MAC address without IP address?

I have a item for monitoring windows service.

the key is service.info[<service>]

the key return 0 that is running.


Then I create a trigger for the service.

The expression of the trigger:
{ServerName:service.info[<Service>].last()}<>0...

1. Zabbix server 4.4.8 (Ubuntu server 18.04)
2. Windows Server 2019

Monitor Service OracleServiceXE (or othe service) (Start / Stop)
service.info ["OracleServiceXE", state]

I try from the Zabbix manual (6 Windows performance counters)...

1.Request Bytes
2.response bytes
3.Response Time
4.Failure rate
5.Error state
6.Execution average time
7.No of times the service is invoked

I have a working installation of Zabbix 3 on Centos 7.2.

The monitored hosts have all been auto-discovered, and I am getting good graphs of CPU and Memory use.

I would now like to monitor the state of a service on the remote hosts - sssd - but I am unsure where to start....
