Zabbix agent reading proc files

Hey all,

I'm started to look into what the `zabbix-agent` is doing in order to understand the effect it has on my system.
I have come across the fact that the agent is excessively reading the `/proc` files.

• cmdline
• stat

Every 2seconds it read all the different pids cmdline and...

I've just installed Zabbix on a Debian Etch server and I have a little problem.

When I want to use zabbix_agent command without sudo to check if apache is running, it answers me no. Otherwise when I add sudo, it's work.

$ zabbix_agent -t proc.num[apache2]...
