Hi all

I have some Solaris [10/11] Servers which I need to monitor.
Does anybody has experience with monitoring ZFS ?
I get different dataset but there aren't any zfs commands used (v 2.4.7).

Can someone help?

First post on the forums - and please bear with me a bit as I'm only recently into Zabbix.

We're trying to get a number of Solaris systems into our Zabbix server (2.2.1 agents and server).

Auto-registration seems to work just perfectly for Linux variants and Windows systems...

Hi, I'm monitoring my infraestructure with zabbix and I don't have any problem with windows an linux servers.

I just installed the zabbix agent in a solaris server and everything looked fine but when I list the procesess the problem is that the tomcat user has been replaced with the zabbix...

In read the instruction, I'm supposed to do 'netstat -ntpl' to make sure the agent is listening on port 10050. This works on Linux but Solaris does not recognize all the switches. Does anyone know the Solaris equivalent? I did not see in the man page anything like it.

My version of Solaris 10 had a Sun version of libiconv.h in /usr/include. It also had the much more extensive GNU version...

The "Supported Platforms" list in the Zabbix docs is a little vague when it says "Solaris", as there are a number of incompatibilities between Solaris 8, 9, and 10 (not to mention the earlier versions).

Is Zabbix known to work on Solaris...
