Are Solaris 8/9 known to work with Zabbix?

Hello, Zabbixians!

The "Supported Platforms" list in the Zabbix docs is a little vague when it says "Solaris", as there are a number of incompatibilities between Solaris 8, 9, and 10 (not to mention the earlier versions).

Is Zabbix known to work on Solaris 8 and 9?

(We unfortunately have a handful of Sol8/9 legacy systems which cannot be upgraded because the applications they host (banking systems) are not supported by their manufacturers on newer platforms.)

Throw them in a Solaris 8/9 zone on a Solaris 10 or OpenSolaris server, and save yourself the trouble of supporting those old installations
