Upgrading Zabbix 2.4 with partitioned DB

I got a situation with Zabbix upgrade and I need your expertise on this.

Currently, I'm running Zabbix 2.4 with MySQL (Percona server 5.7.27-30.1.el7).
Zabbix DB size is around 1TB. Any failure costs at least 2h of copying the backup to the DB server.

I upgraded today and can't get the dashboard to display. I get this error message:

Configuration file error

DB type "MYSQL" is not supported by current setup. Possible values .

In my apache log file, I have an access error referring to dashboard.php....
