Forum RSS Feeds

It would be nice to have RSS feeds for the Zabbix forum. I know there exist some modules for PHP-BB to do this. Any chance of getting one installed here Alexei?

I haven't used vary many feeds before, so mostly it's just through Firefox.

Zabbix RSS feed - unwanted advertisements & porno

Hi Alexei.

Hi too rely on that Zabbix RSS feed to keep me updated through Greader.
But sometimes it gets flooded with advertisements (small nuissance) and porno (really bad since I constantly check the feed at work).

Can something be done to avoid it?
At least turn the feed into text only and block any images.
It's annoying to receive those things.

Or I'll have to use some service like FeedRinse.com to filter that garbage out of my feed.

I think we did a good job recently on improving registration process, so that only a few spam registration come in. I cannot say that RSS feed gets flooded. Perhaps it is only me who thinks so?

Any way we can bring this back, because I'm just not seeing where I can setup an RSS feed for the whole forum, or individual forums.

For the entire forum you can use:

http://www.zabbix.com/forum/external.php?type=rss2

For checking the "troubleshooting and problems" forum use:

http://www.zabbix.com/forum/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=5

If you select a forum, check the url and use the number behind ?f= to subscribe to that forum only.

Cool, thanks. I wasn't seeing url's to get the feeds from. :-) I figured either it was gone or I was missing something (or going blind).

I'm about as late as humanly possible on this, but i just fell over this thread and immediately set up the Forums feed using Free RSS Reader in iPhone. Brilliant - something new to read on the train!
