    Forum Language

    Hi all,

my wish is to have just one language in the Forum.

Because the most of the guys speak english, the language in the forum should be english.

For example, i don't speak russian or spain, but if i search through the forum i find many hints in those two language's.

I think it would be a great help for the others if all the knowledge in this forum would be in one language.

    Cheers

I think this isn't much of an issue as long as a solution gets shared in the forum/wiki when the problems get worked around.

It's only natural some people that don't have enough English familiarity have problems getting themselves understood unless they share their problems with a native speaker of their own language.

This is common in a huge number of forums and we don't need a non-English blockade per se, just an extra effort sharing the knowledge gained into English.

I agree with you on this. When other languages are added one of the worries was the potential fragmentation which will occur. Since it's unlikely to go back to just one language, could we look into integrating a translation plugin like google translate to the forum. I know there are Firefox plugins for this but they it not as effective for longer posts than would a forum plugin if one is available.
