zabbix.com is _very_ slow every now and then

sometimes the zabbix website is beyond slow, yesterday I got my first "php max execution time of 30 sec reached"-error. Is this something that you monitor yourselves and if so, are you aware of the slow response times of the website that occur?
Today everything is OK, I almost hesitated to start this topic, but a lot of other days the performance was "not OK" to say the least.

perhaps the community can help? (hardware, software design, website changes?)

Thanks for reporting this. Yes, we monitor health of zabbix.com and we do have performance issues, I am afraid.

Good news is that we are moving to a faster hosting very soon! Stay tuned.

I was already going around with the hat and about to start some fundraising, loot old hardware, but I'm glad it's being taken care of

Nevertheless, it wouldn't hurt to get busy with tools like Yslow or pingdom.com and implement suggestions shown (same goes for Zabbix frontend of course )

We are still working on this. Should be fixed within a couple of weeks. We are absolutely not happy about it.
