    wiki edits?

I can't edit the wiki even after logging in. I went there to update a url for the centos install.

Also, the discussion dialogue box at the bottom gets an error when you post to it.

    hmm, which page exactly ?

btw, we are slowly moving over to a new site for community components - http://zabbix.org

it has pootle for translation, wiki, will have svn and probably other services. maybe you would like to host your article there ?

      Hmm...

yea.... I have mixed feelings about the zabbix wiki. A lot of content is written sloppy and is done by people who don't really know what they are doing. I just browsed the debian install section and was like "WTF" when I looked at most of it.

I think it makes sense to have an "install" section and then under that have each OS and then the various guides like the old wiki.

When is the commercial site going to link to the wiki?

PS. Looks like you have chosen a wiki but my fav wiki is confluence. hint.

oh, we'll have lots of restructuring and linking to be done on the new one - for now i just let it all flow so we can see what content we get and how to better orgnise it

the problem right now is that you have to use separate credentials for each tool on .org - wiki, pootle, svn... there's an ongoing work to unify it all, and it might finally be done soon. the plan is to start advertising .org more t that point

well, that's the point - to move the quality content over to the new one, filtering/updating in the process
