forum post timeouts and duplicate posts

Every time I've posted to the forums in the past 2-3 weeks, after pressing the "Post" button there's a long delay with my browser's "busy" cursor displayed. I eventually receive a timeout from the forums, but the post usually does get saved. This has caused me to duplicate posts, and I've seen others also have duplicated posts recently, probably for the same reason.

I'm using the very latest firefox browser, currently 86.0.1.

This is a recent occurrence. I have hundreds of posts to the forums from the previous year that didn't experience the long delay or timeout. Seems to be a new problem.

FWIW, I've started getting many duplicate posts via the RSS feed.

I confirm that the forum engine started working very strangely.
Very short idle timeout,long waiting for the post to be published....

radix has done some tweaks and I've noticed big improvements. Please share your experience if you notice any changes.

yes-that's right! problems with short sessions started again and the check "remember me" helps.

I have experienced the same and only way to keep from being logged off is to tick that "remember me" during login.
No changes in this behaviour, I think in last month or so......
