    Books on Zabbix released

Recently two books about network monitoring with Zabbix have been released in English and Japanese languages.

The book in English, written by Rihards Olups, covers setting up Zabbix from the scratch and gradually introduces basic components of Zabbix, moving to more advanced topics. Zabbix is a very flexible IT monitoring suite, but not every part of it is immediately clear to new users. Following the instructions in the book should allow to set up monitoring of various metrics on various devices, including Linux and Windows machines, SNMP devices, IPMI enabled servers and other network attached equipment. Along with that book contains many more tips and techniques of monitoring with Zabbix.

To order the book and for more information please refer to Pact Publishing website.

The book in Japanese, written by Kodai Terashima consists of 14 chapters about Zabbix. Nearly 400 pages that describe Zabbix, its step-by-step installation and configuration, examples of scripts, ways of monitoring applications, monitoring in large environments and plenty of other information Zabbix user will find useful.

It is distributed via amazon book store. To order the book or to get more information about it in Japanese please see Amazon website.

Zabbix Team wants to thank Kodai and Rihards for their enthusiastic will to write those books. We believe that this is useful and helpful information resource for many Zabbix community members.
