zabbix_agentd Version for embedded Devices needed

I need for some embedded devices a smaller version of zabbix_agentd for linux. The actual version is too big for this devices.
Is it possible to shrink it to maybe the half of the size?

Have you tried "strip zabbix_agentd"?

Yes I've tried strip, but the size is still to big for my devices...
Is there any chance to compile a smaller zabbix_agentd?
