Zabbix 1.6 for Ububtu

Had wrote an issue to use zabbix 1.6 on ubuntu(hardy).

an easy way to upgrade to 1.6: for ubuntu users

I disagree. Compiling like that is often not easy for many users. Instead, you should recommend installing the 1.6 package or provide a link to a 1.6 package, which I know exists. Also, you shouldn't be using vanilla 1.6, it is ridden with some serious bugs.

1.6 pachage for Ubuntu is not released yet

As I konw, Zabbix 1.6 for Ubuntu is not release yet in "hardy" or "inprepid". If u know any source, I will be glad to know.
And, the package release in Ubuntu/hardy have the same bug, and zabbix_server will not startup after the boot. The startup scripts in Zabbix source package (misc/init.d/debian/) has the same problem. That is differents between Debian and Ubuntu.
So that is what I mean. If anyone want to release the new package can notice them.
