Zabbix and BlackBerry Enterprise Server

Greetings all. I would like to know whether anyone has ever installed and run zabbix to specifically monitor a BES server? I am going to be installing and running it from tomorrow, my company is currently trying to implement GSX, want to try zabbix out on it before I suggest they jump ship?

Hey, I only posted in November last year, I've been a member here for four years now, but anyway, unfortunately, since no-one ever took interest from here I did not finish my install, it is still on my to do list.

I have done it ~3 month ago.

I'm monitoring a BES version 4.1.x.

First you must activate snmp traps on the server, then I used Mibble (http://www.mibble.org/) to browse all the MIB and I created a custom template.

I have also added some calculated information to have better report (I wanted the number of messages received, forwarded, etc every 15 minutes).

I'm happy with my template but it could be better, don't hesitate to post your modifications, it may prove useful to me too ;-)
