Ireport Templates

Hi:

I'm tired of seeing a lot of threads talking about reports in Zabbix using Ireports, but, no one is sharing their files.. so..

I'll post here the templates, with queries and everything needed that I've set for my zabbix installation.. They can or can not suit your needs... so feel free to modify it.. but please, share your files.. this is open source.

My first ireport gets hosts monitored from an specific hostgroup in zabbix (this group has only machines monitored), and gives the CPU usage in % from last week, one host per page.

It has a main report, which select the hosts from a hostgroup, and a subreport getting the cpu usage for each host and a line chart for printing the values.

If you find any problems whith this, let me know.

Another ireport template for zabbix:

Gets hostname,hostid from monitored hosts in a hostgroup. These hosts have two items: in_centro, out_centro. These are basically the incoming/outcoming network traffic.

For each host, it shows incoming/outcoming network traffic, with "average" and "max" values from last 30 days.

I'm trying to improve my reports, giving the ability to the user to select the start date/end date for report (this step is done), trying to get the "% availability" of a trigger (for this, I need to perform loops to iterate a result set from a SQL), and more..

Any help whith the "Get 100% availability" of a trigger will be appreciated

I'll post here the new templates when finished

Thanks for your templates for iReport. Just starting to look into iReports and Zabbix now. We've been using zabbix for just over a year but are lacking in getting reports that we can publish to management etc due to the lack of decent reporting in zabbix.

Have you had a chance to create any other templates?

Anything that I create I'll post onto here too (may be a while as I'm a complete novice at iReport!)

Hi markl!

At the end, I had to quit for running ireport templates.. didn't have the time because a disaster in my pc at work (HD dead)
so... developed custom reports with PHP custom code (for me it's easier), based on zabbix frontend code.. and used a php library called "dompdf" to export them to pdf format.

Also created some crontab scripts to automate the monthly/year reports generation, and upload to our alfresco (using alfresco api in php).

But learned a lot of ireport generation, sub-reports, how to write custom-code (loops,...).. , and it's easy to use, if you have time, I think it's best approach.

I've used R&OS to generate a PDF file, but I'm having issues with actually finding the graphs to place into the PDF.. Interested in your queries or api calls that you use to get access to the graphs and things, thanks!
