    Sydneysider : you could try my solution which is using a powershell script. Just search the forum for instructions.
    With kind regards,

      Also, I'm not sure of your version of Windows but look into the psexec utility or powershell. You shouldn't have to manually do anything on 300 servers. Good luck.

          Output of the zabbix_get -s ipaddress -k windows.services command ends with:
          { "{#FSSERVICE}":"Zabbix Agent", "{#FSSERNAME}":"Zabbix Agent"},
          ]
          }

          and that fat comma after last service should not be

              Any chance you can get process.exe to return

              #FSPROCESS = zabbix_agentd.exe
              #FSPROCESSN = zabbix_agent

              Reason being, I would like to use the returned #FSPROCESSN in /Process/{#FSPROCESSN}/Counter Win32 Performance Counter. It doesn't accept process.exe as the process name.

              ?

                WMI option

                I know the late post was like a year ago.
                But would a WMI query not be more useful?

                  Does anyone know if it is possible to define the trigger templates to only create a trigger if the service startup time is set to automatic or automatic (delayed)?

                    You can use zbxlld instead services.exe (https://github.com/skarllot/zbxlld/wiki/v0.7_Install). zbxlld have more complex keys for Low Level Discovery. If you want create trigger only for autostarted services, you can use service.discovery.auto LLD key (https://github.com/skarllot/zbxlld/w...vice.discovery). If you want monitor other services too, but without trigger you have to use another LLD rule only with item prototype.
