you can do it via calculated item
here is calculation, the rest is easy.

Get total size:
(last(NetApp B:VolSpace[/vol/win_db_vol/])/last(NetApp B:VolSpacePercent[/vol/win_db_vol/]))*100

Total size - used space which comes in template
((last(NetApp B:VolSpace[/vol/win_db_vol/])/last(NetApp B:VolSpacePercent[/vol/win_db_vol/]))*100)-last(NetApp B:VolSpace[/vol/win_db_vol/])

Hi,
all it's a great template thanks,
one thing I noticed is it is not providing data on protocol (FCP , NFS, CIFS) latency which would be useful to understand how the fas is perfoming...

The template works well on our failover (cf) devices, but we have some new HA clustered devices, model 8040. Does anyone know of a new template for those devices? I've started making one, but want to avoid that pain if possible. It appears that, for those, the snmp connection is to the cluster, not the individual platforms.

I'm using zabbix 2.2.2 and also use the template to monitor our netapp device, It's working very wel but the thing I have is that we have a lot of volumes on our netapp. In the logs on the zabbix server these messages appear

resuming SNMP agent checks on host "xxxx": connection restored

In the netapp I see messages like

[xxxx: snmp.server.busy:error]: SNMP daemon is busy serving a high rate of incoming SNMP queries.

The interval for the discovery rule is 1 hour and the interval of the volume items is 600s

Is there something I can do about this?

How many Items in total do you have?

we have some error about the Quotas ,in the discovery rule :Quotas ,
the quota graph has no data .the .1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.4.6.1.0 is what mean i have find with the netapp mib ,but can't find the explain ,could you provide me the description for me ?

Unfortunately I have no more access to netapp HW so I will not able to develop and test anymore ... anyway I hope open source community go and improve what I've done.

Answer to your specific question is install all mib from netapp doing a manual walk on that value and discover what is it ;-)
