I have revised my Sonicwall Zabbix Template. Now includes CPU and Memory graphs and triggers for high usage. Download it here - Sonicwall NSA

1. To use you will need to enable SNMP on the Sonicwall.
2. Go to Sonicwall's management web page.
3. Select System and then Administration
4. Check "Enable SNMP"
5. Then go to the interface you will be monitoring with Zabbix (Network / Interfaces)
6. Choose Configure for the interface and then under management, make sure SNMP is selected.

Thanks for you template, I can confirm that it works well with a Sonicwall NSA 3500. FYI, you made a little typo in the availability trigger, you're missing an "a" in availability

Hi there,

i recently installed Zappix in our company and i allready got our Servers as host with the agents. We are using a lot of Sonicwalls for our VPNs..so how could i insert this XML file into Zappix???

Or can someone tell me, where i can find a docu in which is this explained?

I am a beginner in Zabbix, but it looks as if this tool could make my life as administrator much easier

Here is how to import templates.
Go to Configuration → Templates
Then click the "Import" button. (Located in the upper right side of the webpage, under the search)

but this doesn't work with any Sonicwall I've tested it on.

Months later, Sonicwall's response is that it's only supported on SuperMassive 10k series devices. I don't have any of those to test with.
