First, thank you so much for the template.

Did you make any changes to the perl script from the original? The script in your tar file is not an editable document so I cannot change the snmp string.

If you did change the perl file can you upload a better version to the blog

            And thanks.

No i dont change this script. But i am wondering that the perl-script is damaged. I will check this tomorrow.

If i forgot anything too monitor please let me know this i will add this.

Hey Sorry for bumping such an old thread, But is there any chance you could give me an idea about what I should do about this error? it happens when I import Colttt's script.

"Cannot find item "eqlControllerBatteryStatus.[{#SNMPINDEX}]" on "Template Equallogic SAN new" used in trigger prototype "Battery Controller Status" of discovery rule "Controller Battery status" on "Template SNMP Equallogic SAN"."

                do you add all valuemappings?

                which zabbix-version do you use?

First, also thank you so much for the template.

I have the same problem as djpain posted at the time of the import template.

"Cannot find item "eqlControllerBatteryStatus.[{#SNMPINDEX}]" on "Template Equallogic SAN new" used in trigger prototype "Battery Controller Status" of discovery rule "Controller Battery status" on "Template SNMP Equallogic SAN"."

My Zabbix version is 2.4.4 in Ubuntu LTS 14.04.4

All valuemappings were added and checked 2 times.

I had a working version 1 put some alerts were appearing and actually the Equallogic PS4000VX is not with no problem so I decided to make the template upgrade.

                        Error Import

                        Hi,

I'm using zabbix 2.4.4 and get also the error when importing "https://www.zabbix.org/mw/images/1/1f/Zbx_Template_SNMP_EQL_v2.1.tar.gz"

"Cannot find item "eqlControllerBatteryStatus.[{#SNMPINDEX}]" on "Template Equallogic SAN new" used in trigger prototype "Battery Controller Status" of discovery rule "Controller Battery status" on "Template SNMP Equallogic SAN""

ValueMap is correctly created and four times checked. Any ideas?

                        Regards Henry

hmm everyone who tells me an error has zabbix version 2.4.x ..

maybe here is something changed in the template-import/export?
                          maybe a bug?
