New powerful mobile client to zabbix

    Hi everybody!

I'm glad to let you know that CactusSoft has just released absolutely new mobile client to Zabbix server on two platforms: iOS and WindowsPhone7/8. It's called Zabbkit.
    - This is the native platform applications. So they fast, nice and powerfull.
    - It's absolutely free
    - Has no any limitations
    - Has no any advertisement inside
    - Supports Zabbix 2.x
    - It's based on our inside experience of using Zabbix
    - We are going to develop it! The nearest plans is iPad & Win8 versions, push notifications and web monitoring.

This is not an advertisement - the project has no any monitization inside.

We are thinking about it. Currently it's just a kind of hobby of our company, so we have no defined release road map, but Android looks very attractive too.

            Hi Yan
            i've tried this, few comments:
            1. i like the layout. nice use of colours etc
            2. no screens available
            3. overview shows the macroname and not the data value eg {HOSTNAME}/ clicking through that alert doesn't tell me which server this is related to.
            4. graphs - nothing available

i've probably done something wrong but can't spot it.

            thanks

                +1 for Android.

The ones that are currently available are very poor...

Hm... Not sure I understand you clearly. Windows Phone version is available for WP7.1 (Mango) and WP8.0. I posted the link to the app in Marketplace before.

Thank you yan, it's a very nice app, the only problem is you really can't identify the host that generated the event. Eg.:

                    Warning
/etc/passwd has been changed on {HOST.NAME

                    1. HOST.NAME says nothing, I can see 20 of these messages on the title screen
                    2. It looks like the text after NAME continues to the right of the screen and can't be seen. Perhaps it's not a problem for most of other users but we name the servers after our customers with 01, 02 etc. after it. So it's altogether possible we wouldn't be able to identify some of the servers even if the hostname was correctly shown.
                    3. I have tried to rotate the screen to compensate for the problem mentioned in nr. 2 but the screen doesn't rotate.

My phone is iPhone 4S with the latest iOS.

                            A few news

                            1. We have released update of WinPhone with set of fixes. The major one is replacing {HOST.NAME} and a few other.
                            2. We have started development of Android version. It moves quite slow but it moves on.
                            3. We are going to make some fixes and minor improvements in iOS version after May 15.

What do you mean saying "no screens"?
HOSTNAME is hot issue to fix.
Graphs. What is the problem? Can you select anything in "Graphs" list (the third one)? Maybe we need to make GUI more understandable...

                            1. Fixed in wp, will be fixed in ios soon.
2-3. Ok, it looks like we need to support landscape view as well. We will add it in todo list.

Guys, thank you a lot for feedback. We have not gave up the application and are going to improve it. And we are open for your ideas!

                            Thank you!
