    Multiple snmp.discovery items!

    Hi All,

I have been kicking around my Zabbix (2.0.4) installation trying to get it to allow more than one snmp.discovery for a device... IE: my SAN...

I have the Low Level Discovery set up for my interfaces, and they come across beautifully.

Just kicking around this morning, I figured I'd do a new snmp.discovery to get some volume information, only to find out that I can't use the snmp.discovery key again!

However, on a whim, I tried snmp.discovery[1] for my second Snmp discovery items... and IT WORKED! See the attached screenshots for more info...

I don't know if that is in the documentation or not, but I figured I'd post it here just in case anybody else was trying to do this too...

    Hi Dafyre,

I'm wondering how you managed to make it work ? I'm building SNMP template for ESXi host and I need to discover items (network card, hard drive, ...) from discovered virtual machines.

Can you post a screenshot of your snmp.discovery[1] configuration ?

    Thanks,
