Orabbix - question about alive item.

Hi all,

I our "Oracle template" I see many "zabbix_trapper" items that I can find in query.props.

But there is also one item "alive" that is not in query.props, and it is active and it is receiving values. There are also some others but I ma especially interested on this.

So my question is - how can it be like this? I mean, the "alive" is not defined in config query.props file, so how does zabbix know, what and who to ask for to read those values?

Hi Alive is not defined on query.props, it is send directly from orabbix when the connection is fine.
