Centos/Redhat Agent Binary

Does anyone have a centos4.3/redhat binary agent they would care to share. If I am reading the instructions correctly, I would need one that was configured with the --enable-static option?

Server is running fine, windows agents are running fine, but I can not seem to get a linux agent make/installed to run on other machines. I notice on the downloads page, there is no centos/redhat binary agent to download....

If you have zabbix server installed and compiled on centos/redhat you can compile the agent by adding --enable-agent and install the agent on any centos/redhat server. There's no need for the --enable-static.

I have done this multiple times without any issues.

Yeh, theres really no need to compile the agent with the --enable-static since it doesn't really use anything specific to do it's monitoring afaik. I've tested the agent on fc3, fc4, fc5 and centos4 and they've all been fine.

That option is more useful for the server. (which has trouble compiling with that flag). In the end i gave up trying to compile the server with that flag.
