    Template HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8

    Hi,

    I have noticed that Aleksey Ignatiev have posted new Templates for the HP ProLiant DL380 servers.

    When I try to import the templates I got error messages regarding valuemaps.

    Can you please help me with the value mappings (Server HP Fan, Server HP Health)?
    I can't find any instructions with values I need...

              I had the same issue, the problem is there is no value for last in the trigger descriptions.
              Cannot implode expression "{IPMI_HP380G8:Sys.HealthLED.last()}=1". Incorrect trigger function "last" provided in expression. Parameter sec or #num or user macro expected, "" given.

              If you do a find and replace on the template xml it should correct the issue.

              find
              last()
              replace with
              last(0)

                I got the same issue. The value mappings are missing and you need to create them before importing the template.

                Navigate to Administration/General and change the drop down on the right side to be Value Mapping.

                Add the values for Server HP Fan and Server HP Health.

                I am not entirely sure of the real values. Currently testing with:

                Server HP Fan
                0 ⇒ Error
                1 ⇒ OK

                Server HP Health
                0 ⇒ OK
                1 ⇒ Error

                  Doesn't work

                  When I configure the host using IPMI, I get one error as bellow:

                  error: cannot connect to IPMI host: [33554436] Unknown error 33554436

                  I've made all configurations fine, for example:

                  IPMI Interface
                  Authentication using default algorithm
                  Privilege Level Admin
                  Username
                  Password

                  Does anyone have any idea?

                  I'm using zabbix 2.2 and openipmi 2.0.16

                  thank's a lot

                    Same platform, same template, same error here. What is the secret to this host/template?

                      you can resolve your problem by following these steps:
                      Code:
                      Steps to fix on Debian:
                      1- cd /tmp
                      2- apt-get source openipmi
                      3- cd openipmi-2*
                      4- edit file debian/rules
                      5- find ./configure in section "config.status:"
                              CFLAGS="$(CFLAGS)" ./configure --host=$(DEB_HOST_GNU_TYPE) \
                              add --with-openssl to ./configure:
                              CFLAGS="$(CFLAGS)" ./configure --with-openssl -- host=$(DEB_HOST_GNU_TYPE) \
                              also remove --without-openssl if that exists
                      6- save file
                      7- sudo dpkg-buildpackage
                      8- cd ..
                      9- sudo dpkg -i openipmi*.deb libopenipmi*.deb
                      10- restart zabbix server

                          I just edited the:

                          <valuemap>
                          <name>Server HP Health</name>
                          </valuemap>
                          to

                          <valuemap/>
                          And add it to zabbix 3.4

                          I know this is ressurecting an old post. But trying to help out anyone looking for an answer to this issue such as I was.
                          Still figuring it out if this works.

                          I'll attach the xml. Altough I dunno if this is the most correct way to do things.

                          Still learning on how to work with Zabbix again.
