have somebody an Solution to check VPN-connection with sophos via SNMP instead of ping?

Hi,

It is a old topic but I was looking for something else when I found this. It is possible as the Sophos UTM gives SNMP traps when the VPN connection drops, and when it comes back.

However I noticed that sometimes my tunnel doesn't really disconnect but stays alive only no traffic is going through the VPN, so I would suggest that you still use ping to verify the VPN.

At the Moment i use some generic SNMP oids to get Memory, CPu Usage etc.
I am interested in Monitoring VPN tunnels or if the Firmware can be updated.
Can someone profive additional Information here?
I opened a case @Sophos and i hope i get some answers.
