I'm pleased to announce that vPoller release 0.3.3 is now available!
Lots of new features, improvements and bug fixes made it into this release of vPoller and last, but not least this release comes with native vPoller support for Zabbix!
So, what is vPoller?
vPoller is a Distributed VMware vSphere API Proxy, which allows you to discover and poll vSphere objects from your vSphere environment.
It is easy to integrate vPoller with Zabbix which makes it possible to start monitoring your VMware vSphere environment right away.
This release of vPoller also comes with native suppport for Zabbix via a loadable module making your Zabbix Server/Proxy/Agent able to talk to vPoller natively! Having now the loadable module of vPoller for Zabbix also solves a number of performance issues of previous vPoller releases where VMware vSphere monitoring was mainly done using externalscripts.
So, how to get started with vPoller?
Best place for getting started with vPoller is the documentation where you will learn about the vPoller terminology, how to install & configure vPoller:
* http://vpoller.readthedocs.org/en/latest/
In order to start integrating vPoller with Zabbix, please refer to the `vPoller integration with Zabbix` documentation, where you can also see some example screenshots of vPoller and Zabbix.

vPoller is hosted on Github, where you can also access the project sources and submit issues if you experience any bugs.
Hope you like it!
