We're pretty new with Zabbix, but one of our engineers wrote up basic blog about using Zabbix to monitor Check Point firewalls and management servers. For those not experienced with Check Point, it's actually pretty annoying to get basic information out of your firewalls and management. With Zabbix, we were able to pull all our required data with ease. We even wrote a script using the Zabbix and Check Point APIs to automate a lot of the discovery and populate the inventory.
