Hello all. new to Zabbix. I see someone wrote a Template_Tripplite.xml, but it seems the dependency file, Template_PingCheckHA, which references Template_Tripplite:icmppingsec is no where to be found. The user that posted it seems to be inactive for almost 2 years.

Would anyone have a copy of these they can post? or perhaps would someone know how to use the built in ping check to somehow replace that part of the file? I'm not a programmer, so I'm getting a bit lost in the code.

The simplest way to fix your problem - remove all dependencies.
Open template......xml in any text editor (notepad.exe, for example) and remove all section after keyword <dependencies> until </dependencies>.

Then replace <dependencies> to <dependencies/> to save correct syntax.
