You need install vendor specific MIB.

I think if you use the numeric format (like .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1) you don't need any MIBs installed.
MIBs can usually be found on the constructors site or with a quick search on google.

You can get vendor specific MIB's from vendor site or vendor disk (with docs & soft). This MIB's need add to net-snmp. After this you can get data by name.

              1. Get "getif" program (google it out, its freeware)
              2. Load mib file into it (drop file into Mibs folder and kill .index file)
              3. Start getif and go to mib browser, find variable you need to monitor, see what value looks like (string or number), grab numeric OID at the bottom.
              4. now go to your zabbix box and try to retrieve that variable with "snmpget" from UNIX command line. If it doestn work try adding ".0" to oid at the end, or maybe change snmp version or check your community string or ACL on the device.
              5. When you get that working, enter all parameters into zabbix template as you saw them working with snmpget, assign template to the host.

                snmpwalk -Os -c public -v 1 -m ALL x.x.x.x extremePrimaryPowerOperational
