Everyone who has been doing this for a while has something inventive to brag about. This is your chance to tell your story. A cool and unusual setup. A clever rule set. A trigger to cover a set of rare and exceptional conditions. An exotic device you're monitoring. Tell us all about it, preferably with details!

My "coolest" is that I monitor the temperature in freezers with a Raspberry PI Zero W with a temp probe attached :-)

Wondered if "measuring temperatures in zabbix" counts as cool But anyway I monitor the temperatures and natural gas (NG) usage of my heating system. This is done by using a ESP8266 which pushes the values into MQTT which are then read by a Zabbix Agent 2. Also I have a trigger informing me that the temperature of the circulation pipe (the one which prevents you from waiting 5 minutes of warm water) wasn't high enough within the last XX minutes.

Now wondering on how to display a dashboard in anthias (signage display). But haven't a solution yet.

BTW: Reading values from MQTT by Zabbix agent works awesome reliable. Thanks!

I created a monitoring via API of groups to find out how many alarms of unavailability of urls are in status problem and using a calculated item I make the calculation to show me a percentage, if 10% of all URLs are out, I generate a different severity...
