I am using generic templates like Template Module Generic SNMPv2, Template Net Network Generic Device SNMPv2, Template Module Interfaces Simple SNMPv2, etc. for network appliances' monitoring. If there would be a need to use SNMPv3, then those templates no longer work. I can't find any hints for similar SNMPv3 templates - is there any, or what would be the best practice to monitor devices using SNMPv3? Currently running Zabbix 5.0LTS, but planning to upgrade to 6.0LTS.

Why do you think those will not work? SNMP version and credentials are defined on host level already in 5.0, same in 6.0. It is just a added security layer, nothing changes for polled data... -
Ah, it was my mistake - I did not remove SNMPv2 from Interfaces list, but added SNMPv3 - when testing to get a device name, the template chose the first, SNMPv2 option, showing the Community name field. Removing SNMPv2 completely solves the problem. Thanks and sorry for spam.
