MS SQL Named Instance

I have successfully used the MS SQL template with Zabbix Agent on several MS SQL database servers successfully but can't figure out how to get a named instance with dynamic port to talk. I've searched and searched but can't find the proper configuration.

While the agent will report simple SQL uptime and backup intervals, no other data is acquired with the resulting error: "Cannot connect to ODBC DSN: [SQL_ERROR]:[08001][10054][[unixODBC][Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server]TCP Provider: Error code 0x2746]|[08001][10054][[unixODBC][Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server]Client unable to establish connection]".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also trying to monitor instances with dynamic ports and I have also searched and searched, tested various combinations and cannot seem to make it work. Were you able to find a combination that might work?

I am also a bit concerned this may not work at all, especially because of this note in the Zabbix Agent 2 description from https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/mssql#mssql_agent2:

"The Service's TCP port state item uses the {$MSSQL.HOST} and {$MSSQL.PORT} macros to check the availability of the MSSQL instance, change these if necessary. Keep in mind that if dynamic ports are used on the MSSQL server side, this check will not work correctly."
