The company I work for has developed a device for which we plan on writing a custom, standards-based monitorable / controllable agent, that we would like to integrate into a full suite of enterprise management monitoring components.
We will need to create a custom UI for our appliance to view status as well as issue commands to it.
We would like to add our own specific elements to the UI and manipulate them (drag / drop, color change, etc) to reflect state and to control the device.
Security is of course paramount.
We are in our "discovery of options" phase, and I would like to ask the forum if it could kindly inform us if this scenario sounds workable with Zabbix.
