Here's a template we use to monitor our BigIP's.
It might need some tweaking but it's a start.

template for Cisco MDS9000 ( series )

Hi,

I created a template for the Cisco MDS9000 FibreChannel switches.
It should work on any MDS9000 series switch ( I think ) because all values are read via snmp.

Ports run until fc1/32 and reads the following values :
- Admin status
- Oper status
- In traffic
- Out traffic
- port speed
- In errors
- Out errors
- In Discards
- Out Discards

Following graphs are available for all ports:
- in/out traffic in bps
- in/out discards
- in out errors

No triggers defined.

I've tried importing other templates as well with no success.

Which distribution do you use?

You need the php-xml.

I use Fedora then:
# yum-y install php-xml
# service httpd restart

I am having trouble importing these Motorola templates.
I just downloaded the xml file to my desktop and then tried importing the xml file.
Am I doing something wrong?

I am having trouble importing these Motorola templates.

Templates for the Motorola Canopy Equipment: Base Station, the AP and SM station.
In addition to basic monitoring (traffic monitoring on ports) - make monitoring -

At the base station: visible satellites, tracking satellites of GPS, monitoring of power supply ports.

On SM station: Color code, RSSI and Jitter level, Lan port status.

On AP station: Color code, Lan port status, SM Registered Count, GPS_status.
