because this is my first post on this forum i'd like to shortly introduce myself.
My name ist Thorsten Mueller, 28 years old and live (and work) near Frankfurt/Main in Germany.
Many thanks to all the developer of this great open source system monitoring suite for doing a great job
I want to realize the following:
I have a script which runs once a day shortly before midnight and counts all mails of that day which has been marked as spam (for statistic purposes).
This value is manually entered into an excel sheet to receive a graph of the spam development.
Because i'm a lazy person i want to automate this process with zabbix
How can i create an item in zabbix with only one value per day (shortly before midnight) and how can i send this single value (spam amount) to the zabbix server from one agent computer.
Is "zabbix_sender" interesting for this job?
I hope that somebody can help me with this.
