I use an apple for my computer and constantly monitor zabbix. Even though I do have emailing I like to have it up all the time. I made this widget to be able to monitor the triggers page. If you use this, just right click on the widget and select show package contents, and edit the html file to the destination of your zabbix server. You still have to log in and all that jazz. It is very simple but I found this helpful and made it easier for me because I kept closing my web browser. I hope it helps someone else as well.
