    Alert light control

    Hello all,
I am monitoring several equipments. And I have Alert light, which should blink if any issue occur on these equipments. Still blink till all issues will not be solved.
    My solution:
    1. If one of their triggers become ON (some issue), then using Action, Zabbix call script, which switch this alarm light to on.
    2. But I don't know, how to switch this alarm light off, after all triggers become to status OFF.

    Thank you in advance

An alert script is called both when a action goes on and off. You just have to make your script check which of does is the case, and then turn the light on/off depending on this.

      Hi Tenzer,
thank You for reply. But, I don't think it is good idea.
Monitored equipment has 5 triggers e.g. During any malfunction become not only one, but few trigers to state ON. => For each of them I am switching Alarm light on. (It is no problem to switch light on, when is on already).
But, when some trigger is returning to OFF, I can't switch Alarm light off, because there still can be another trigger in state ON.

Your suggestion mean, that create special logic in script, which will remember all triggers statuses become to ON, and after all returned to OFF to switch alarm light off.
It is obscure, and potential place for errors.

Is there any way to create Group Trigger? Something like using Host Group in Maps?
(If any server in group is in error state, whole group is in error state. Only if all servers is ok, group is ok too.)

You are looking for dependencies then. Take a look at page 85 in the manual.

I know about trigger dependencies. But my understanding is, that these dependencies are only for "hide" another chained "false positive" errors.
And, somewhere in this forum I found, that messages about FALSE (OFF) state are sent for all servers, even they are "hidden" using trigger dependency.
Maybe I am wrong. Can you simply sketch how to use it?
