    Hello,

This depend of type of wires.
Up to 20 meters with telephone cables or one twisted pair.

If cables is too long and sensor will don't works, you will read 0(zero) value.

resurrecting a zombie thread... do these devices natively support zabbix agent protocol, or is snmp the only option ?

              Hi,

The initial software support zabbix passive agent and SNMP protocol.
The latest software support only SNMP protocol.

The hardware is 100% compatible with initial and latest software.

              Best regards,
              Florin.

thanks for the answer. are there any plans to re-add zabbix agent protocol support ?
while loading older version might be an option, there's always the risk of being unable to use latest software which fixes some bug or adds some improvements

                  OK.

I will add back ZABBIX agent passive protocol.
I'm very interested to implement ZABBIX active agent protocol, but somebody need to help me with protocol description...

                  Best regards,
                  Florin.

                    sorry for the delayed response.
i'd love to dive into the protocol, but i'm a bit swamped with things for quite some time now... it should be pretty easy to figure out with tcpdump or wireshark, though - just post here if you can't get the information needed

                      PIC32MZ Zabbix Active Agent

                      Hello,

I implemented the Zabbix Active Agent, version 2.2

                      I changed the MCU to 32bit, PIC32MZ

I added a small 1Amp relay on the board

Now, the Active agent, support up to 24pcs 1wire sensors

                        Yo2lio,

I like your hardware agent, I had a old version running for some years
in a company I worked before. Very good and stable.
The price is fine , but the shipping costs are a killer.

The addons with one wire and the relay are very usefull.
