I've installed the 1.5.3 and I'm trying to use the ICMP discovery, but that doesn't work. No hosts are discovered, it seems to me that no hosts are even checked.
Discovery: ICMP check for an IP-range of 50 IPs (yes, there are some pingable!), with a delay of 60 seconds.
Action: for Host-up and check-type=icmp, add hosts to a group and link with a template.
The Zabbix Server doesn't log anything about discovery, there's nothing to be found under "Monitoring->Discovery" or "Monitoring->Latest Data".
Needless to say, both the Discovery and the Action rules are active
) When I try using Auto-Discovery for a certain service (SSH, for example), it works.
We have a customer which is very interested into this new ICMP Auto-Discovery feature. Any idea when it'll work?
