    ERROR: Invalid URL

    Anyone have any tips on how to trouble shoot this? It is coming up on the configuration tabs and only on web,items,triggers, and screens.

    Ok update... only the admin account is having this issue? Is it a profile thing?

      I have the same problem, after upgrading from 1.4.5 to 1.6.

      It's hapenning in WEB monitoring, and only with the user 'admin'.

      I've added another user with all the rights and it works fine with the new user...

      With 'admin', I only get: ERROR: Invalid URL

      Here's the URL causing the problem:

        Interesting. You may try to execute the following SQL:

        delete from profiles

        This should help.

            I just had this exact same problem, but with my user ID, not the admin.

            Is this a 'feature/bug' that i can expect to occur again?

              Just had this problem with a user (non admin) using Zabbix 1.6 - rev6248 . Alexi's solution worked.

              Thanks!

                I have this exact problem with Admin ID , my private ID is fine. Maybe UI'm braindead this morning but I don't understand the context of "delet from profile" ? Just like that ? what will it end up doing?

                  That will delete everything from your profiles table. The next time the user logs in a fresh profile will be given. Anything custom your uses have configured will be lost though.

                    I currently have
                    Table: profiles
                    Data Size: 49152
                    Index Size: 16384
                    Total Size: 65536
                    Total Rows: 189
                    Average Size Per Row: 260

                    What kind of stuff will be lost. Passwords? Will I be able to get back on? Why are there so many rows there? I certainly don't have that many users.

                    I have no sense of the risks or what I will loose?

                      If you have any favorite graphs, screens, etc. they will be lost. Custom colors, etc. will also be lost. Passwords are not stored in the profiles.

                      If you are worried you can always run a mysqldump of that table and restore it if you have unforeseen problems.

                        To keep your favorites you can use the following SQL query:

                        Code:
                        USE zabbix;

                        DELETE
                        FROM
                        profiles
                        WHERE
                        profiles.idx NOT LIKE '%fav%';
                        I usually cleanup the profile table after every php front end code upgrade to make sure there are no compatibility issues.
