I just installed 1.5.4 today and was wondering how to go about enabling / using the database cache module mentioned in the relnotes.

    How to do it?

As far as I understand you use it by default. the process responsible for db-cacheing is called db-syncer. it can be adjusted with StartDBSyncers variable in server.conf file. by default the variable equals 1 which means that if you do not explicitly set it to 0 - you already use it =)

Hmmm ... are we talking about ZXB Server or ZBX Gui ? I think that are two scenarios. I dont know were use cache in ZBX Server because data is comming from clients and are stored in database, maybe cache can be in server controls.
