After you create a Maintenance item you have to select Group=All and Host=All to find the item created. It does not show up under the Host is was associated with.

Something tells me you didn't updated frontend or this is me how are doing something wrong.. I saw that problem earler and I thought, I fixed it.
at least I can't reproduce it again.

Aly I apologize for reporting this. The problem was due to my own patch. I will be more carefully next time before posting. After fixing my patching problem, the site now works as expected. Thanks again for the help.
