agentd not starting on gateway

Hi all,

I have problems getting zabbix alpha 10 to work on a linux fedora core 4 gateway. The computer has 2 network cards, and we use VPN and virtual tunnelling.
Error in line [
] Line 3
and then I get a <defunct> zabbix process. Also no zabbix_agentd.log is created.
We use zabbix on several Windows and Linux computers. agentd is running ok on a linux gateway with fedora core 3 and without pptpd and vtund.

I also tested an older alpha version of agentd on this gateway. It's the same result. After a few minutes all zabbix processes die. (Because the housekeeping service is cleaning up?)
But still the same problem with Error in line [ ] Line 3, and one agentd process is defunct, and no agentd.log is created.

Unique problem?

Hi all,

agentd is running ok now. It seems the agentd.conf file was not 100% ok. Probably because I copied it from a linux computer to a windows computer and from there to another linux again. Some invisible formatting issues I guess...
