Version Pre 1.7.0 Build 6764 -- Problems

Found the following problems in Version Pre 1.7.0 Build 6764:

• When viewing a User_Group while in Administration, if you add a user to the user_group "INVALID URL" is displayed. Adding host_groups to the user_group works great now but adding users to the groups still throws the URL error.
• When using the trigger wizard or builder to insert a trigger expression, if you save the trigger the following error is thrown "[hostid] is a mandatory field".
• Invalid URL is thrown when using the tools (Ping, Traceroute) on the main Dashboard on latest 20 issues.
• If an admin "disables" and item in configuration, the item will be disabled but the whole screen will default back to "Group: unselected and Host" unselected" and you have to keep going back and selecting the group and host on the drop downs to disables multiple items. Looks like it is loosing focus.
• When you use mass update for items, "Applications list is no longer populated" when the option Application is selected. Only None is shown.

You are right the above problems are fixed. I am having problems with the color picker for graphs in this version. Is it me or is it a bug?

Thanks Aly I will test and report my finding. I am still getting an "Invalid URL" when adding a user to a "User Group". If I go into Administration -> Users -> Select "User Group" -> Open an existing User Group -> At the top left select add to add a user and after selecting a user I get "Invalid URL". Maybe it is me.

interesting. we're now seeing this same error both in 1.6.4 installation, and test trunk (rev 7243) installation. 1.6.4 is upgraded (1.1->1.4->1.6), while trunk is a fresh install.

what makes this even more interesting, it fails always with opera, but seems to work with firefox. obviously, it worked perfectly in opera before.

any ideas what's up ?

Hmm strange thing, just added under Opera 9.63 using trigger expression builder

wicked. today, problem is gone (at least with 4 different items on 2 different hosts) in the trunk install, but it's still there in the production 1.6.4 install.
for the record, full error message ;

ERROR: Invalid URL
Critical error. Field [hostid] is mandatory

could the 'invalid url' part be helpful here ?

Please try rev. 7244. You shouldn't get any errors on trigger creation.

P.S. I know where the problem lies, but do not know how to get there

this seems to have helped for me. do you mean that you don't know yet what a proper fix would be ?
if so, are there any possible regressions from this change, maybe something regarding trigger mass update ?

I just haven't found the way to reproduce it. Triggers and hosts linked not directly, but through items, so hostid is a useless data on trigger creation or update.
