This might be a feature, but just in case, the month and the day is swapped around in the input text boxes while viewing the events filter. See pic below:
Date format like mm/dd/yyyy is more US style, many others would prefer more international style like yyyy/mm/dd or dd/mm/yyyy, so it's soreted by "priority".
