    pre-requisites problem

    Hi,

    I just upgraded from 1.6.7 to 1.7.2 & i cant seem to pass the pre-requisites window it fails on stuff that was ok before !
    i am using centos 5.2 64 bit

    PHP version: 5.1.6 Fail
    PHP post max size: 8M Fail
    PHP MB string support: no Fail

    these are my isnatlled version
    php-5.1.6-23.2.el5_3
    php-mbstring-5.1.6-23.2.el5_3

    php.ini is configured with
    post_max_size = 8M

    Any ides ? how can i bypass this ?

    not sure about allowed memory or mbstring errors, but currently zabbix frontend required php 5.2.
    with older versions xml import/export might be broken, but you should be able to run it anyway - copy zabbix.conf.php.example to zabbix.conf.php and edit as appropriate
