Map host icon background color?

I've noticed with 1.7.3, I now have colored circles behind my host status icons on my maps/screens. I have various shades of red and yellow, yet I have no triggers set on any of the hosts.

What do the different colors mean? Why would some be red with no triggers tripped?

It's a known problem of 1.7.3. It is already fixed in the latest code.

The color supposed to reflect severity of problems. In case of no problems no highlighting should be displayed.
